sunshine and snow ♥

led by lindsay and candace, we all snatched a few packets :P technically, you could say we kinda-sorta paid for it. kinda. sorta. i guess?

okay, not really. oh wells :)

anyway, wyman and kelvin left for the late nite poker tournament and me sherry, ray, ben and wai fai headed to ray's place for a mini crash course in texas hold' em poker! which is insanely fun and AGONIZING, all at the same time! heheh :) we joined everyone else back at the old union for district 9, but we were kinda late and totally didnt get what was going on so me, sherry and wai fai went to sherry's room to watch..

which was a totally awesome movie.. right up til the end when fall changed to autumn while they were fighting -.- mehh. channel-surfed a lil, talked a lot, and before we knew it, it was like 4! o.O i went up to grab my stuff and we all crashed at sherry's whee!

woke up at 10.30 the next morning, and despite valiant attempts to make the 10.30 bus to walmart, we ended up missing the 11.30 one too and had to wait for the 12.20 one -.- typical teenagers huh.

oh oh after 2 months plus of buying bottled water, i finally decided to invest in a FILTER! yayy me. less plastic, save the environment! here's my über cool portable filter and my stash of cups that i grabbed from the dining hall during dinner :)

the bus back was late though so we were half an hour late for the first basketball game of the season! the BU BEARCATS vs the bloomsburg huskies! again, no pictures of the game itself, i dont know what was wrong with me, i only thought of taking pictures when the game ended -.-

i blame it on the excitement of the game :) despite the many misgivings i had about watching a basketball game, it was actually pretty cool! everyone was very the kan-cheong and they gave out lotsa random free stuff during time-outs and half time! the stuff ranged from pizza to BU tees to cash vouchers to a CAR to free lasik surgery. how utterly random is that?! hahaha.

after the game, we decided to explore downtown binghamton! oh did i mention it was an absolutely awesome-weather day?? it was like.. almost warm! :))) in the middle of november. the weather here is mad random sometimes. hopped onto the bus, walked around a lil.. the place is kinda scary actually. it was dark by then so i was kinda relieved that we had wyman, ray and kelvin with us :) we ate yummy pizza, then went into boscov's! its this hugee department store that sells like.. everything. there was even like this chocolate bar!! :O

i bought this really cute pair of pajama bottoms and a packet of hershey's dark chocolate xx's yum yum! :)) we all bought diff types of candy hehehe. ohh. i had a HERSHEY'S TAKE 5 for the first time ever :D chocolate. pretzels. caramel. peanuts. peanut butter. all in one lil bar of yummyness. nuff said ;)

we played poker again and the loser had to do some random stuff inspired by watching SILENT LIBRARY videos. omg. the things that they do.. *shudder* here's the link if any of you are interested haha, its mad funny :P

so yesterday i had like a really weird fever out of the blue.. like what on earth? i was perfectly fine in the morning.. i started feeling really out of it in geography and when i got back i literally died :( my head hurt and my whole body ached and i was nauseous :(

my theory is that my immune system just crashed on me coz ive been around all these sick people week after week! first sherry had the flu, then kelly caught it, then sherry was coughing again and then jia was coughing! o.O so i guess i HAD to fall sick, just to get it over with. LOL. and now im feeling better. really tired. but feeling wayyy better!
